High school students cover JEA/NSPA convention

ASNE site

It's been a bit of a learning curve particularly without the benefit of much documentation. The challenges so far seem to be regarding video upload and delivery. It appears that video is being encoded off site to flash, but the site doesn't appear to accept flash directly from the individual user. Native MPEG4 codecs aren't being dealt with as far as I can tell. It would be good it MP4 and M4v formats were accepted directly without conversion to Flash particularly since they are already optimized and sized for the web. I've also been having a bit of difficulty resizing images and dealing with alpha keyed images. I'll keep working and keep you posted.

Beta Testing of ASNE news templates

Today I'll begin working to beta test the new ASNE multi-media agile news templates. For the next few days my posts will be directed toward reactions to the new tools. I'm looking forward to it.
